The Middlewich Clean Team has received a surprise donation of £250 from Barclays Bank at their Gadbrook Park offices in Rudheath.
Clean Team Chairperson, Janet Chisholm said "We are extremely grateful to Barclays for this unexpected donation. We will now be able to buy some more heavy duty safety jackets for our volunteers who are out in all weathers keeping Middlewich clean and tidy"
Barclays' employee and Middlewich resident Mark Staley who nominated the Clean Team for this award said "This Barclays centre donates to numerous worthy causes each year, whereby colleagues are asked to suggest local charities or organisations that help make a real difference in their local communities. As a Middlewich resident, I am delighted that the Citizenship Committee accepted my nomination as the Clean Team undertakes admirable voluntary work in my home town."
