From the same source as the Hawk comes my Vampire. The decals are based on an FB5 VT871 of 601 'City of London' squadron with the 'VT' replaced by 'IJ'. The silver finish and twin booms make it very distintive in flight and easy to see in good light but hard to see on duller grey days. The addition of the leading edge stripes helps and later the spinner was changed to red for the same reason.
